Our preconstruction team offer advice on the most realistic options available ensuring that design modifications are broadly in line with the architectural intent and yet practical in terms of manufacture, handling, installation and overall finish.

We also offer technical advice in terms of fixings, lifting points and other options and their potential effect on the overall aesthetic. This may include discussions on shape and where small modifications may improve the finished product in terms of appearance and cost.

We welcome the opportunity for early engagement and appreciate that not every project will suit precast concrete.

Whilst we will produce samples for a particular project, we would always strongly advise that a mock-up panel is produced to reflect the reality of full-scale production and the particular shapes involved in the project.

We are actively trying to reduce our dependence upon ordinary portland cement to reduce the impact that concrete might have on the wider environment. Lower carbon options are available and CCP is working hard to reduce the carbon impact still further.

Our preconstruction team will offer advice on how best a scheme could utilise precast concrete both as an entire solution or as part of a hybrid structure. Different precast and hybrid solutions will exist, and the right choice will depend upon the design and, in particular, the site conditions.

We will provide cost, design, installation and technical advice at an early stage so that contractors can move projects forward with increased confidence.
