MULTI-STOREY CAR PARK, HIGH WYCOMBE

In order to cope with increased rail traffic, a multi storey car park was constructed to service the burgeoning needs of the commuting rail passengers.

CP designed, supplied and erected both the complete 
stair core towers.

The stair cores were made in solid crosswall construction and stitched at the joints.

The core walls were produced in CCP’s state of the art carousel plant, were perfectly flat and had no formwork joint lines that would normally be associated with concrete walls. The panels were left undecorated.

Erection of each core required a crane and a cherry picker with no external scaffold.

Stair and landing units were fitted as the cores went up.

The erection of each stair core was completed in a week.
